PAYPAL payments

I used to be able to hold payments in my PAYPAL acct and use them to pay others for things I got on EBAY .  NOW in my husbands PP Acct I see that they transfer all to the bank acct and he has NOTHING in PAYPAL for EBAY purchases.  Is there a setting to keep PAYPAL Monies in PP till he asks to be transferred to someone or a bank?   What is the sense of having a PAYPAL acct if you cannot keep some money there for EBAY and other online purchases???

PAYPAL payments

You can transfer monies from your checking account to a PayPal account, if you want a balance in your PayPal account. But... monies from eBay sales have been being paid to the user's checking account for some time now... not to their PayPal account. For example, the $20(?) from the couple of sales under this ID from July and the couple of sales from September have paid out/will payout to a checking account.

As to "the sense of having a PAYPAL acct" at all is for the extra layer of protection it adds. Plus, the handy 'Wallet' feature. ðŸ˜‰

Payments that are made to the ID that you are posting with are under the Managed Payments process, and any payouts are made to the attached checking account. The buyer payments do not go to PayPal.

Whew!

While reading through this thread I was thinking to myself who the heck can still accept payments through PayPal in the US?

It makes sense that the OP did not realize that they are in MP for selling and not PP anymore.

Bonanza still sends payments to PayPal.

eBay no longer puts the buyer's payment in your PayPal account. eBay puts it into your husband's checking account.  Buyers can still pay with PayPal.  You do not have to have money in your PayPal account when you pay with PayPal.  I have my credit card and my bank account attached to PayPal. When I select PayPal for the payment I check which method I want PayPal to use. There is no extra charge when you pay with PayPal.

I was talking about eBay sellers.   This is an eBay forum.

I am unsure if there are foreign countries that are still able to use PayPal for their selling accounts the way we used to which is why I said still accept payments through PayPal in the US.

Thank you.  I thought there WAS a charge when it comes out of the bank, where PP is sending everything I get from EBAY Sales.

"Bonanza - What is option to PayPal???  Thanks."

Individuals who sell items on the Bonanza site (similar to eBay, but much, much smaller) still receive their payments through PayPal.

PP "is not" sending the money to the bank.  PP "is not" processing any "seller money" anymore 🙂

eBay is sending those payments to the bank account attached to the "eBay selling" ID🙂
