Not getting paid

I have been selling off and on on eBay for 21 years.  Recently I have twice had problems with people buying and not paying.  There really is no recourse and it means that an item can't be relisted for a week.  Shouldn't there be a way to stop this practice of non-payment?

There is, it's called fixed price with immediate payment required.

You may consider refraining from using auctions style listings, DO NOT post best offers either, because that's also a scam magnet and list all your items at a fixed BUY IT NOW price with immediate payment required checked off.  It's the only way to avoid these types. You get more serious buyers and you'll get paid.
