Every-time I try to add my bank account routing and checking number, I get an error that says try again later. Iv tried on different browsers, desktop and mobile, but nothing works. I have a large national bank that should work fine. Iv called tech support but they say they will call me back but never do. My support ticket is a barren waste land of nothingness. No answer. I have no way of selling. Is there any way to sell without being caught in ebay's catch 22 of requiring an account to sell but then not letting me add an account?

That's not a spot I'd like to be in. Out of curiosity... are you ticking your "large national bank" and then adding the numbers? I ask because I've heard that some can 'trick' the system by scrolling to the bottom of the long list of banks to 'My bank is not shown here' (or whatever the verbiage is), ticking that option, then physically adding your "large national bank" name and numbers that way. Sometimes it's like selling at Workarounds R Us here... you might try it.

Hi Grenva
This is what I would suggest for you. Apply for a Walmart Green Dot Bank card. It's an acceptable form for payment here on Ebay, as I have used mine for 7 years with no problems. Use it ONLY for Ebay transactions. They provide a routing and account number for you and again, it is an acceptable means of payment:

There is a monthly fee, but if you deposit more than $500 a month, it's waived. You can order it on line and have it within a few days. Give it a shot. It works.
Love your family photo in your avatar...too cute.
Have a great evening.

I think some variation of this might end up being the answer. Im not excited to have to pay a monthly fee for just the occasional ebay sale. Does anyone know if a venmo or paypal card account would work?

Where in the process are you getting the error, entering the bank name or when entering the routing/account number?
Exactly what type of account are you trying to use? Some who have tried using checking accounts that are associated with a brokerage account may not work.
If you do go with an alternate bank, most of the established online banks have no-fee accounts of one sort or another.
