New Payments Page Design Layout???

So, I just clicked on my Payments tab in Seller Hub and  I see anew layout and design that is only a little bit MORE confusing to figure out what my TOTAL amount of pending funds are from recent sales. I don't like it and it is more confusing but I guess it is WORKING AS INTENDED. Anyone else notice this? THE BIG HUGE BLUE BOX with a dollar amount in it for available funds and then underneath to bottom right a very small line with a dollar amount for Pending Funds.

I was one of the ones who had a payment declined today glitch, wondering if this new layout page has or had anything to do with it? My money was eventually sent but very late in the afternoon, we will see if it makes my bank account tomorrow at 9am like it should and always does.

When I checked last night and saw the big BLUE box I was like "UH oh now what?"

Everything seems to be working so guess just have to get used to the new design layout

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

Yes, a big blue box that states I have no further payouts coming. Fact is, I have two more payouts coming. Couldn't be more confusing. Who writes this stuff, anyway? The terminology they use resembles a foreign language. People are still reeling from yesterday's problems, so they change the page design the same evening?

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

I am on weekly payouts and it tells me I have no further payouts coming.  I do have a future payout and its in a week just like the old page used to tell me.  Instead of working to fix the numerous glitches in the payment system they waste their engineers time on making the user interface even more wrong and more importantly more confusing.

Does anyone in Ebay systems engineering think before they make a change that impacts every seller.

hate to be mister obvious - but the answer is no

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

I have a big blue box also. It says I don't have any upcoming payments. I actually have 3 more orders for payout and they have taken the labels fees from these 3 orders out of my last payout.  Talk about confusing!  Trying to run the numbers and none of them add up! Underneath and to the right mine says processing. The processing number does not add up to what is owed to me from those 3 orders.

I am relatively new to MP and just when it was starting to make sense....LOL

I think they are hoping to keep us confused by changing the format and wording.  I feel like an experiment where I am kept in a dark room with all sensory deprivation and they are pushing to break me from keeping track of what is still owed to me.

The big blue box just makes things harder . Whoever makes these changes have never sold a **bleep** thing or ever used that page.

They do like their blue buttons etc and lots of white space that's for sure.

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

I discovered the same thing this morning. I get daily payouts and I'm also seeing the "You don't have any upcoming payouts" statement; I called customer service and asked if I would get a daily pay out as usual and they said yes, that's it's just a new lay out. Which is fine, I just, like, could use a break from the tinkering eBay seems to be constantly doing. It feels like there's some new wrinkle to get used to every week.

Anyway, hopefully that's somewhat reassuring? I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who finds this stuff really exhausting & nerve-wracking.

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

Why in the world would they use the word "upcoming"? For those of us with a grasp of the English language, that means you do not have any "future" payouts. It's absurd, as I'm sure most of us have payouts coming as early as tomorrow.! And they wonder why people are coming to this board totally bewildered about the MP process.

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

They have too many programmers and designers.  If they are going to do pointless busy work instead of needed site fixes they should just fire some of them.  Or hire people who have actually used a website for a living.

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

I am seeing the same thing available funds but no upcoming payouts? I get paid daily ....

I have been in managed payments for awhile and have gotten many deposits

So I am hoping that is simply the new wording of the BLUE BOX and that I will get a deposit tomorrow / monday

its oddly comforting that I am not alone in this sinking boat going towards a waterfall that we call ebay manged payments.

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

I notice 'pending' funds has now been replaced by 'processing'.

So all those 'help' pages which state 'pending' are now out of date?

I'm guessing they have no idea how startling (and somewhat unsettling) it is to be be confronted by a HUGE blue box stating "you have $0 available funds" or even if you do that flat statement that you also "have no upcoming payouts" when you can clearly see you have sales "processing".

Re: New Payments Page Design Layout???

They just updated mine.  The layout STINKS out loud.  There was nothing wrong with the old layout.  Why complicate things that worked just fine. They need to instead start making changes for the things that don't work and that people actually complain about and would like to see a change for, not just make useless, moronic changes just for the heck of it... 😕
