Never Added Bank Account, But Got Paid

I sold an item.  Ebay has been asking me to add my bank account.  I started the process, but never added my account.  The item has been marked paid and is asking to be shipped.  If I add an account later, will the funds show up in the future?  Thanks for any help.

You are already enrolled in Managed Payments.  You will not be getting the money until you take care of this.

You will have to finish the requirements of enrolling in Managed Payments.

Why did you not make sure it was taken care of if you wanted to keep selling?

How much later?

You should go ahead and add an account now, even if it's your household account. Then meanwhile  set up a new account just for eBay. After it's established delete /edit your account information and add the new bank account.

Of course you will get your money. It is simply sitting in limbo until eBay is able to transfer it to a bank account.

I went to my local bank, opened a free checking account in 15 minutes, and deposited $100 into it. After the bank emailed confirmation that the account was ready, it took 5 minutes to link it to my eBay account.

I use the same bank account for all six selling accounts.

you will get the funds when the account gets set up.I can imagine they could possibly  be held for quite a number of months if you do not sign up.of course that is only speculation but the  funds will be in limbo till the account gets straightened out.

new listings are going to be prohibited............... most likely has already happened.

I would sign up soon..................MP is easy to use and pretty simple if you ask me

And while this is going on with finishing the set up you should get the item shipped within your stated handling time, or you will get a late shipping ding.

If "manage all orders" shows Awaiting shipping, as it states there, the buyer payment is "confirmed". Same as the PP "OK to ship" status.

On the label printing page you can scroll down to have the label paid for from "pending/available" funds, or you can continue to pay for labels by the method of your choice.

Thanks all for the replies.  I went to the bank and set things up.  eBay shows my money as available, so hopefully it'll work itself out.  I did drop the item in the mail today.  Thanks again.

i'd bet it's sitting in an interest-bearing account adding to our host's bottom line along with a bunch of other people's money waiting for them to do the same thing...
