Managed payments

Why are we having to pay higher fees for eBay to manage our payments? My shipping charges are still taken out of my PayPal account, so why not have one or the other manage everything to simplify my selling experience. If we must pay a higher percentage fee, then top rated sellers should be exempt from insertion fees. I no longer use the auction method, only the buy it now format, but it's frustrating to pay a re-insertion fee every 30 days on small ticket items where you have a larger quantity to sell.

I would appreciate other sellers tips or suggestion too.

You can pay for labels from "available or pending" funds by scrolling down on the label page to select that option.

The MP fees are about the same with 6% sales tax. A bit higher, or lower depending upon the tax rate.

Someone posted that it is actually 5.82% for the break even point. I just call it "about 6%".

I can address one of your issues... you can opt to have shipping paid from your 'Pending' payments. Just shimmy down to the bottom of the label page and change your preference. It will become your new default.

If you'd still like to use PayPal for your labels... once you have a zero balance, you can choose a payment method from your PayPal wallet. I still have MP debit my bank account, but a seller could use a CC, too.

Thanks for the info! I'm still learning how to navigate through all the options and methods of selling.

Thanks for your response, I'm still learning on the seller side of eBay.
