Tradeing on eBay 10yrs tried to list my car for sale but can not list, Some items cars supported by managed payment. I have joined managed payments. Want classified ad and do not want any of the payment managed by eBay. Can’t understand why eBay have not sorted this out. Customer services said it was an issue that is not likely to be reviewed in the near future and advised a second account, that did not work either would not let me list the car either Any thoughts?

ebay needs the people in MP. ebay likes the money from MP. Ebay is working on getting the perks in the future from MP and Adyen. Cars, bullion, and a few other things, well, they may come to pass or they may not. ebay is in a winner seat, at the moment. Other thoughts, yes, but those might be considered heresy or sedition.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Under various condition and with various personalities, any of the three could be appropriate.

OP - there will be many who will find surprises that are pleasing, while many others may find them disconcerting. Some people love change, while others abhor it. Everyone must find the path that suits them best.

If you sell restricted items in MP EBAY customers should be diverted to Paypal to pay in a normal business model. I opened another account to sell coins but it will take a long time to establish and get found in the search.
