Managed payments payout less than expected because of the cancelled order.

Hi guys. If somebody can explain the payout of managed payments with a cancelled order.

I look in my last payout and it seems like I'm inside of the rabbit hole. Maybe something with my head and need to visit a psychology asap?

I sold 3 items and payouts for them were as 101.92, 101.62 and 110.50 ( Net after all fees).

So the total is 314.04$

The buyer of 110.50 asked to cancel the order before shipping and I did it.

Today I got a payout for 3 of these orders. The payout is 93.04$!

I took a calculator and it clearly 101.92+101.62 - 110.50 ( for cancelled order). Sounds legit from a first look.

But it is not! The eBay took the cancelled order payment from a total payout, but I never got the money for this cancelled order before.

It should be 101.92+101.62+110.50 and than eBay takes 110.50 back. In that case all ok.

But now I got 93.04 instead of  203.54 ( for two first orders that never cancelled)

Sounds like your $110.50 transaction got refunded twice. Have you checked your transaction history for that item? If so and there's nothing incredibly obvious to you, you might want to ask the eBay CS team on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ebayforbusiness) to take a look at the transaction history for that item. Just press the big blue "Send Message" button.

Keep your message as clear as possible - you've already contradicted yourself once here, saying that the money was in your pending payout, but also saying that you never received it. Only one of those can be correct.

If you have never owned a dachshund, no explanation is possible.
If you have owned a dachshund, no explanation is necessary.

@freeshipavenue

When a cancellation is process, the funds to refund the buyer is taken from your Available funds.  While the buyer's actual payment is sitting in Pending Funds.

So if you have a payout BEFORE the buyer's original payment CLEARED pending, that would answer why you payout was lower than you expected.

The good news is your next Payout will be for more than you expect.

You can track all of this easily in your Seller Hub, under the Payment Tab, Summary section.

You're good... $203.54 - $110.50 = $93.04. The cancelled sale's monies should still be Processing.
