I've been on eBay since the early 2000s and to change how I get paid seems a stupid idea. Where does eBay come up with these hair brained ideas. Someone probably thought ' we can make more money handling everything", well eBay doesn't do a very good job with complaints and now the want more personal information. I've stopped selling on eBay. Why not give sellers a choice instead of forced compliance. Otherwise you can't sell I don't like being pressured into things

I have just the opposite view of the new managed payments. I am saving a ton on Paypal fees. All my records are right there to figure out my fees and taxes. Paypal is a complete nightmare to do this on at tax time. I love it and it is almost like Amazon but better as you do not have to pay any fees to get all this at no charge. Now if you want to hide all your income I can see how this is making that hard. Better program-better records-easy transition-what is not to like???

100% agreed - MP is a nice upgrade, at least for me. The majority of sellers prefer MP - but I expect that most small sellers will not.
