Managed Payments

Managed Payment is a TOTAL AND COMPLETE DISASTER. Now we need to wait for at least 3-4 business days for the payments from our sales to be actually deposited into our business checking account. With PayPal, the payments for sales were immediate. This is going back to the stone age.

 

When I signed up for the Managed Payments for both my wife's store and my store, my wife's store was fine, but I received an error messages for my store stating that I needed to provide more business information. I had submitted the IDENTICAL REQUIRED BUSINESS INFORMATION FOR BOTH STORES. I took about 4 phones conversations and 5 DAYS for eBay to resolve their incompetence.

 

Today I attempted to change the "Automatic Payment Method" from PayPal to our checking account. (I don't want to have to toggle back and forth between PayPal and our business checking account. That is a waste of time. I'd rather just use our business checking account). A message appeared stating that the change would appear in a few minutes. It has been over 12 HOURS and the "Automatic Payment Method" in both stores says "None".  This is maddening and infuriating. (I've had call eBay EVERY DAY for the PAST 10 DAYS). What a waste of time.

 

eBay NEEDS TO TRASH THIS AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS NON SYSTEM AND REVERT BACK TO PAYPAL, WHICH IS A THOUSANDS TIME BETTER!!  We will be pursing other platforms to sell our items.

 

Oh, and one other absurd situation: When clicking that eBay will call you back, a message appears saying call back will be in 1 minutes, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, etc. THE CALL BACKS DON'T COME UNTIL HOURS LATER, USUALLY AT INOPPORTUNE TIMES. WHAT A JOKE.

Managed Payments

Do you have a debit card attached to your business checking account? They may allow that to be used as your automatic payment method, although a checking account should work. It may just be a temporary glitch.

That is not going to happen, as ebay and Paypal did not renew their contract.  All sellers will be in MP by the end of 2021.

A debit card has nothing to do with my post. This issue here is that eBay takes forever and a day (GLITCHES) to get anything changed. The eBay IT Department is INCOMPETENT. Oh, and the eBay person I spoke to today told me it take about 24-48 hours to change the Automatic Payment Method. Then eBay SHOULD DELETE THE MESSAGE THAT THE CHANGE WOULD OCCUR IN A FEW MINUTES. INFURIATING!!

I repeat: eBay HAS GONE BACK TO THE STONE AGE. Some poster said that whoever came up with this Managed Payments (non-system) should be fired. I AGREE.

Well, I don't blame PayPal for not wanting to deal with eBay. eBay should have found another company whose expertise IS in Managed Payments. eBay does not know how to manage payments.
