Managed Payments

I saw the promotion in my eBay inbox that said I could get a free $15 off my next eBay order. All I had to do was confirm some of my account details. I confirm the account details, and suddenly I'm enrolled in "Managed Payments." I understand what this is, but I never wanted to be enrolled, and I never actually got confirmation that I got my $15-sketchy. The main reason I don't want Managed Payments is because when you put your bank account in (I have not yet) it says "You also authorize us to charge this bank account for money you owe eBay, such as reimbursing eBay for refunds or claims. I'm not sure exactly what this means. Does this mean that when people open up a return item case that eBay will automatically take money out and re-imburse them after a period of time? I am just looking for some explanation. If this is so, how can I turn off Managed Payments and only use PayPal. Does it still use PayPal if I don't have a bank account linked? Thank you guys for your time, and I look forward to hearing your opinions and answers.

Once your in MP, there is no way out, but quit selling.

Pay Pal will no longer be an option for sellers, that's why they are switching everyone over to MP.

If you have a return and don't have enough funds in your MP account, they will pull the funds from your bank account to cover the refund.

Have A Great Day.

That's really annoying. It will be hard if somebody opens a case, and they forgot to call it off or something. On top of that, it seems like they don't even have to send back the item!
