Managed Payments: Transaction still "Processing" ok to ship?

I am now using managed payments. My first sale went through. The Payment went from processing to completed rather quickly. The second item sold (the same day as the first). The payment is still "processing", not completed.

Am I supposed to wait until the payment is completed before I ship? This is a $600 item.

I am not worried about when the money gets to my bank account. But I want to make sure it is in my ebay account.

How long do items normally take to process?

When your item sold and the buyer paid you should have received a message from eBay that it was OK to ship. You should also be able to go to your Orders awaiting shipment and see the status.  And no, you're suppose to ship within the handling time listed in your listing once the buyer has paid.

Just wondering. The transaction details show the payment is processing. The completed circle has not lit up yet.

Is it possible for a payment to fail while it's in the "processing" stage and never make it to completed?
