Did you mean:

Managed Payments Payout is far less than requested amount

I recently requested a $7815.48 payout via daily payouts through my managed payments. This was my total available funds in my account at the time.

How come the payment I received today via direct deposit was ~$465 less than what my  available funds were? On top of that, the transaction record itself shows $7350.90 with no fees taken out of the transaction. Am I missing something? Did managed payments secretly just take ~$465 from the payout and hope I wouldn’t notice?

But, I’m not a new seller. I’ve been selling items on eBay for over 10+ years. Do you mean a new seller on the Managed Payments platform?

You might not be a new seller, but if you don't sell constantly or have gaps in selling, they might consider you a new seller.

Have a great day.

Re: Managed Payments Payout is far less than requested amount

It sounds like you are trying to reverse-engineer how much should have been in your payout, instead of just going to look and see what was actually included in your payout.

Did you go look at your Payout Detail to see *exactly* what was included in your payout? It will show you every order that was included in the payout - including the date , description, buyer, a link to the order, the gross amount, the fees deducted from the gross amount, and the net amount that was included in the payout.

It will also show any other charges that were made against your account during the payout period (ex. shipping labels, refunds, etc.)

IMHO you need to stop trying to "back into" the payout amount, and just go see what was included in it.

Re: Managed Payments Payout is far less than requested amount

@lacemaker3 Thank you for your input, very helpful. I finally figured out the issue and everything appears to be correct.

I still stand by critique that there are a few pieces of information missing from the UI that could help users track down all the correct information to make informed decisions. I've designed large scale digital platforms for over 10+ years so its just natural for me to critique things like this.

@mam98031 I never said eBay was "secretly" holding funds from me, I was just a little concerned over a few pieces of information that didn't add up, but I figured it out. I've been using eBay for a long time (as have you) and never ran into any issues to be honest. The transition over to MP was not as seamless as other platforms but it now works great for me. Thanks for the reply.

No one said New Ebayer.  But you are a new seller or a seller that has been away from selling for over 90+ days.  The rules for these sellers has been around for years.  Far longer than MP.  The only difference was the money was held in PP.
