MP problem

Greetings, I got the "need to do MP" notification and tried to add my small town bank.  I did everything asked and messaged them a copy of a bank letter with all the information they said was needed.

  When I go to seller hub I am getting the RED LETTER message that I need to update the bank account I provided.

  Has anyone else had that problem?

2 things..........be sure the name you are registered with on Ebay is the same name on the bank account.

won't work......  I had to change the ebay registered name (which is no problem to do) to get it to match the Bank Account. 

Bank account must be a checking account.......not savings.

Thanks, I just checked and my eBay name and my checking account name are exactly the same.  

  Perhaps I can phone them, won't that be fun.

I read somewhere that your best bet is to call before 9a.m.............as they are jammed after that..........there is a special # for MP as opposed to the usual contact ebay #, but don't know what it is.......

Thanks for the information.  I have sold on eBay for well over 20 years now under a couple different names. The thrill is gone and it has turned into a pain to deal with all the changes. 

  I loved paypal when you could get paid and transfer the money to your bank when you wanted to.  People don't realize what interest is made on billions of dollars in a short amount of time when someone else has your money.

Last I knew you can only get them to call you.  The MP support is as useless as their usual support to no surprise.
