Interesting thought but why the 45 degree ends when most sewing drawers
are square? Both of the black stripes are sewn completely around as are
the sides and ends of the outside. Lets see if I get any other answers.

I finally found one that has the ladle slot. Date information is still a
mystery. I am old and my skills online are rather limited. One of the
nice things remaining about eBay is usually if you ask a question you
will get good answers.
