Just wanted to share my experience with MP.
Although I'm just a 'small peanuts' seller, I still count! Lol!
And I have to say... "I am thrilled!" No problems at all.
I'm still checking out the various types of reports that are available, but as it relates to the
2 deposits I received, it looks like the fees taken are correct.
I will most likely switch to weekly payouts (once I'm sure things are being calculated correctly).
I feel badly for those that are having so much trouble, and if there's any way I can help, I'd be more than happy to.
Just thought that a positive note would be... well, POSITIVE! YAY! Anjela

Thank you and 'Hip Hip' to your open mind! It's been working fine for me, too... since the Fall of 2019. Welcome.

No issues here either. A few things are different and I had to ask for help, but that is to be expected. It is nothing to be scared of as some would have you believe. Someone even sent me a PM here on the community about the evils of managed payments when I had posted a positive statement. Thanks for the ++++ post!

Same here, I don't have to log into PayPal anymore and deal with their shenanigans of keeping part of refunds and cancelled purchases (ebay only keeps $0.30). Automatically once a week I have a payment into my bank account. Could not agree more.

I am happy you like it................its really not a big deal to sign up as you say
you sell.............you get paid and its all right there in seller hub
I actually like not having to transfer money or figuring out how much to leave in my account
returns are still a breeze for me

People do not like change, even if it is for the better. People gripe on here becuase they cannot get instant access to their funds like PP but that’s a thing of the past on here and people need to get OVER IT. They gripe a lot lately becuase Ebay needs their SSN. Well of course, they HAVE TO REPORT TO THE IRS, again GET OVER IT.

No a single issue since day 1 (Aug 2020).
I wonder if stuff found or not found in your Credit Report causes issues for some people?

eBay's elimination of PayPal (for sellers) may appear to be a smooth transition on the fore-front, only time will tell
There is no longer a middle-man. Now eBay is the be all, end all. They have the final say no matter what. There is not someone like PayPal that has no bias and fairly decides a case. eBay has always been for the buyer and has never been a seller-friendly site, no matter what anyone on here says.
People passing banking information to a non-FDIC insured website like eBay may have negative consequences coming in the future. PayPal is WAYYYYY more secure than eBay (just in the last 4 years, eBay has had 2 major scandals involving employees, which makes me somewhat hesitant as well)
I've been an eBay/PayPal user for nearly 2 decades and I personally liked the combination. You didn't have one recourse of action, you had 2. Now with the MP, we only have 1 and whatever eBay decides, goes
They made it seem like MP was optional in the first several e-mails, assuring all of us they weren't doing away with PayPal. Wrong. Buyers can still use it, but no matter how payment is issued, sellers won't receive money via PayPal, only a 3-7 day wait instead. We all know not to ship before getting paid, so do we then wait 3-7 days before creating the label? I like to see the actual money in my account

This change is not for the better though
It is solely for eBay....so they can make just a little more money on each transaction
eBay does not have to report to the IRS. Now with their new MP they do, but before PayPal reported to the IRS (I am sure you received a 1099K if you sold on eBay in 2020 from PayPal). So why did eBay make the change? For more money, period, end of story
Had nothing to do buyers and sellers or anything else

but your late to the party, MP has gotten better since I entered, and I was late to the party too but it was still a mess when I entered, it's gotten much better since.

While I will wait with the transition to MP, I listen to a lot of negativity from sellers associated with MP.

I'm fine with MP too since last August.
Since I am a TRS plus seller my discount now applies to the total fees charged so my fees are actually less.
Also I like that we now get all of our sellers fees back when a full refund is issued. Less the. 30 cents transaction fee. Unlike before where paypal kept their fees.

not all issues that sellers have with MP are the inability for instant payment &/or having to give up SSN...there are many more reasons/much more to the reasons why MP does not/or will not work for all sellers, so PLEASE GET OVER trying to convince those persons that THEY need to GET OVER IT!

You need to ship within your stated handling time when eBay says it's time to ship. If you don't want to ship until funds are in your checking account then you must extend your handling time.
You can use pending funds to pay for your shipping labels. The option is at the bottom of the label form.
