Jump on the Leave Ebay Train

Leaving due to the demands of my personal information in the form of a Social Security Number. Good ridden to 15% fees + 0.30 cents extra fee-higher-than-the-Paypal-fee-already-was + all the lying Ebay call center employees in India and the Philippines who said Ebay would refund me the $14.47 they STILL owe me for an overcharge on shipping. Taking my business elsewhere. Outta here permanently! 😝 Now bring on the Ebay shill replies and the deletion of this post.

Just added to say I do not judge any seller who has decided to leave, but I do take umbridge when an opening post contains - 'wait for the shills etc', that is insulting to people who have made the system work for them and are just trying to help others, and there is no need for it IMO as it kind of sets the tone for any responses you may get.

Does an innocent person walking down the street run when someone yells "burglar!" No, only the guilty run. If you're not one of them, umbrage should not apply. Shills, however, desperately wait for action and they are never helpful and do nothing but name-call, whine, complain, cry, and avoid the topic altogether, usually using the same old tired tactics and same old lines repeated on every thread they can find. They even come in all forms- giraffes, wolves, koalas, hats, and even pyramids, oh my! ❄️ Since you have all this time to reply to an ended thread, my recommendation to you - as someone just trying to help others - is to start steering time towards sales, as you have ZERO LISTINGS and ZERO feedback. Come on, help make this broken system work! 💩

I agree 110%   .

I closed all my listings and will no longer sell my stuff here. Been on Ebay for 19 years. I'll keep my account open just in case i want to buy something but no way they get my personal  info. Heck NO!!!!  Glad I'm not the only one

I understand what you say.  The photo was, as is my selling account, obscured by taking the photo from a distance.

In actuality there is little there that is even locally sales worthy, much less eBay sellable.  Hard to read, but way over on the left in the photo is a sign that reads "FREE".

Some usable items that I prefer not to just put in a dumpster.  Some might yard sell if attempted. As an after thought I should have put a "donations can" out for fire department fundraising, but 2 problems with that. Non-believers, and thieves.

. Unless you are just a yard seller and want to get rid of stuff ebay is still the best place to sell constantly

You hit the nail on the head!  Some of us were only selling stuff we would otherwise be throwing out or donating..  just to get a little extra cash in hand to be able to splurge on a meal at a restaurant or buy a steak which isn't normally in the budget..    not re-selling for profit.
