EBAY now direct deposits funds to your bank -- and not to PayPal -- in order to "save you PayPal fees". But are we really saving money? I sold a book for $106. They subtracted a fee of $15.43. So the fee percentage is 14.6%. That seems higher than before.
Has this move merely lined EBAY's pockets, resulting in no net savings (or even more cost) for sellers? Any info would help.

It would have helped if you had kept records of what you cost were before.

Fees are about the same
Old Ebay- 10% (varied with some categories)
Paypal fee 3%
Total 13%
New MP w/ Ebay 12.35% (use 13% as sales tax is included)
Total 13%
Are you using 'promotions'? That will add X% as well.
