International Fees

I recently sold an item from Florida, it’s  going to Fairfax Virginia, but I’m being charged $9.10 for an international Fee??

International Fees

You use eBay's Managed Payments.

eBay charges 1.65% of the payment amount if you receive a payment from a non-US source.

Paypal charges ssellers 1.50% & calls it a cross-border fee.

Your buyer may be shipping the item to VA, but they used a non-US Paypal account or a debit/credit card issued by a non-US bank when they paid.

This fee is driven by where the buyer has their account set up.  It is likely they were shipping to a friend, family member or maybe a reshipper.  Lots of reason for shipping to a US address.
