At least in Paypal I had a little more control over which money goes where into which account.
Here, I have totaled the last few payouts and for some reason I am short! Like losing money, and I have everything carefully listed to account for fees, shipping, and how much I paid originally for item. Always have done this.
But the way they payout, I try to calculate a couple payouts and reconcile against sales and I am way negative. I do not like this at all.
Does anyone have a good system on how to accounting-balance their payouts and doing it by hand? I always do auto/computer and manual to check my math, and it was easy with paypal, now I feel I'm just throwing money out the window.

What’s not matching? Have you looked at the reports in seller hub, is that what’s not matching?
Are you using the 12.35% (item, shipping, tax) + .30?
Store?
More details may get you an answer from someone.

I am looking at payouts, no I don't have a store. The payouts are wacky, as it seems that my labels are haphazardly deducted and throws off my numbers. I total the payouts for a given month and it ends up negative, which I don't understand. I manually column each one for cost, shipping, fees and profit and it just doesn't add up.

What do you mean "haphazardly" deducted? The USPS label costs are deducted either from your choice of paypal or from the payout (if you choose that and have enough $), UPS and Fedex are put on your invoice and deducted on a monthly invoice......

they are deducted sometimes immediately, and if they are, they are deducted before I am paid the the payouts of the other items, so each payout does not balance.

Have you looked at your invoices, statements, reports in Sellers Hub?
Since we can’t see how you’re calculating, we can’t tell what’s messed up.
Do you have an example?

Thanks dhbookds...I think you just answered MY question. I could not figure out why my UPS charges were not showing up in my PayPal account. I've been searching around a bit for an answer and stumbled upon your response. So...I guess that answered it....ebay is going to charge me once a month now. Great.
Thanks
Mike
