I wanted to alert people....confusing fees error

I was recently charged an extra charge for my store. They charged me for one month and a half recently. I had to be in on a chat to get it fixed. The "specialist" told me I was charged for August 16th thru September 15th for my store subscription and then another charge for August 1st thru August 15th for half the fee. The funny thing is I had already paid back in July for that time period July 16th thru August 15th. I have managed payments, but even so, I'm just confused why this even happened? I would think this is all automatic and I have been on ebay since 1998, but in 2008, after a time period of not doing ebay, I started again as a new user. I would just like it to be explained how this happened. Was it human error, someone pressing a button charging me? Or was it a clerical or computer error? Or was it......intentional? I was able to get a promise that this would be refunded, but there was no explanation. As of today, I have not been reimbursed.

Exact same thing happened to me. Was also promised a refund.

I also noticed that they added a 5% fee"For Below Standard performance". I'm top-rated plus so that was confusing. They also add VAT on top of all the fees even though i am VAT registered here on eBay.

Think they have corrected everything but the VAT. It's INSANELY important to always check your fees here on eBay. 

eBay is a massive machine so errors like these will pop up every now and then.

Oh, and these errors showed up when i was moved to managed payments last month.

I have noticed, if I ship things with the ebay international program, they, the buyers, are ALWAYS charged taxes. Even when they aren't collected by post so ebay keeps them I am assuming. I am also assuming that is what VAT is about. I also get charged a "fee" for every purchase by international buyers. How is this harder or more costly on ebay and not me? Hidden fees everywhere just to make another cool million every minute or so for them while we get our profit chewed away!
