Some day's ago I made comversation about that Ebay hold all payment's more that 2 month's.
I will tell you my story.
I am seller from Latvia (Europe). Almoust 8 year's I sell item's on Ebay. I am Top Rated seller all this time, For 8 year's I've got about 3 - 5 negative feedback's from scammer's and cheater's. About maybe 10 opened ''non recieved cases'' all with refund's.
Statdet with new MP system all was fine. All money that I got everu tuesday I've got payout without any problem. I verify my bank account and all was fine until 21th July when Ebay hold all trasaction on my account. When I contact with Ebay support they tell me that now seller's should prove that buyer recieve the item. There is 3 option's.
1. Tracking Nr. show that item is delivered.
2. Buyer leave positive feedback.
3. Seller ask the buyer that he recieve the item in messege.
When I saw this first time I couldt believe that can hapenning in 2021!
I sold 90% small items (4 - 8$). And if you ship item to worldvide you should know that there is tracking number for small envelopes and small items which started with UA -------------LV 9Ended with your country symbol). No one will buy item for 4$ and pay 15$ for tracking number. When I ask Ebay what will hapen if I shipp unregistered item, buyer's didn't leave feedback and in message buyer ignor seller did I recieve my money or it would hold forever? Answer was - Forever because Ebay system need to make sure that item is delivered. For example. Now I made this coversation and buyer leave me neutral feedback. He paid 20$ for item. Tracking show nothing but buyer recieve the item But I get my money if buyer leave positive feedback.
I dont understand why all seller's on Ebay think that is normal. I think that is disgunstind and pathetic. I never think that somebody made stupidest system in the world where I would need to begind to leave me positive feedback's. Untill this day feedback doesn't mean enything.
And how I resolve this problem? I am business seller. I pay all taxes in my country. At now I made ''holiday's'' untill 1th september then I just delete all my 500 listing's. I've got big plan's on Ebay but now I need to go!
P.S. - I live how Ebay support say to me that ''Don't wory. Your money is in safe. You just need to prove that buyer recieve the item.
My answer was: '' My money is in safe only then when money is in my bank account''.
