A customer bought few items from me. The payment is already done - the applied shipping is Economy Shipping. But he asked me to send the parcel via FEDEX and required to receive an invoice for additional payment.
How do you proceed in such cases? Is there a way to send an eBay invoice when the payment is already done?

The only way that I know of on eBay would be to cancel the transaction and start over. Otherwise, you can send him an invoice for the difference in PayPal. You will need his PP email address which should be in the header of the original payment notice email you got from PayPal.

Before you decide to ship outside your listing parameters, read up about shipping through FedEx. You may be hit with an invoice for extra shipping charges long after the package is delivered.

If you do ship through FedEx, make sure the FedEx tracking number is attached to the transaction. As stated above, you may just want to cancel it and have him re-buy it.

Personally with all the issues people have been having with extra charges using FedEx, I would tell the buyer no and if they would like to rebuy give them the choice of USPS or UPS. I would look at it this way, all the information was in the ad about how long shipping would be and they should have known that before the bought it. Were you including shipping in the price or was shipping separate? If you do the invoice thing, make sure to hand enter the tracking number and click the shipped icon if it does not self load.
