Hello, apologies if this isn't the correct place to post this, Payments seemed more appropriate than Returns. Hoping to get some direction or assistance. Thank you in advance.

I purchased a poster from France on August 28, 2022. I'm in Canada. There was a shipping issue with the postal service in France and ultimately, they lost the package. The investigation into the shipping issue went on for quite some time, until January 3, when the seller informed me the package was lost and I will be refunded.

The seller is now unsure how to process my refund. They asked for an IBAN, but I payed with PayPal. Then they ask me for my email address, which I'm not comfortable providing and was blocked from sending on eBay anyways.

So I'm not sure what to make of this, and now I want eBay to step in. I've been searching for a way to contact eBay directly, but no options are available under my purchase details.

A case had been open with eBay when I was not able to message the seller during the shipping issue, which has since been closed. Since this case was closed, I have no options to contact eBay directly, and my order number cannot be found when prompted under their Contact Us option in the Help section. I have tried reaching out to the seller for assistance with contacting eBay, no response so far.

Is there a way to contact eBay with my situation to get my refund? A phone number ideally or email?

If the transaction occurred in August 2022 then eBay is no longer an option you had 30 days from the estimated date of delivery to open an item not received case. It’s too late for that.

PayPal gives you 180 days from estimated date of to file a chargeback. You can try with your credit card company but it maybe too late there as well.

You are so very lucky the seller is willing to refund. Do you have a PayPal address then give them your email address. Or have 5hem send you an International Money Order.

Thanks, how do I provide my email address to the seller? I've tried every way I can think of but everything is blocked from sending, and now I'm seeing a warning of account restriction if I try too many times.
