How many free listings with managed payments?

I am a small seller trying to decide if I really need to have a store.   I never have more than 250 listings at any given time and most of it just sits there since the time when eBay lost almost all the photos on our listings.  (Remember that?  Fun.)  I vaguely remember them saying we'd get all sort of FREE/  PERMANENT listings once we switched over to managed payments.  Is that true?  Does anyone know the actual number?  Thank you!

With or without Managed Payments, sellers who don't have a Store subscription get 200 free insertions per month.
