How long after giving a refund do I have to wait for ORIGINAL FUNDS HELD to be RELEASED BACK to me?

Hi, I had a return request this past Saturday and Ebay put a HOLD on $85 of my pending payouts. I just received the item back and promptly issued a full refund of which Ebay deducted again from my PENDING PAYOUTS. My question is does anyone know HOW LONG I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET MY ORIGINAL $85.00 HOLD RELEASED BACK TO ME? The case is showing CLOSED but the Original HOLD AMOUNT is STILL SHOWING "OPEN" $85.00 on HOLD.

It's 1 or 2 more business days to get funds back from on hold. A request on eBay takes 2 negatives and 1 positive.

You should see the Hold release by tomorrow, then a couple more days to 'Completed.'

It will move from on Hold to Processing and then to available funds in 1 to 2 days.

eBay as a platform are not allowed to hold buyers or sellers funds.

Banks, Credit cards, Pay pal and other similar organisation hold these funds and eBay work with one of these organisations who manage payment .

Just an Update. I was pleasantly surprised to see that within an hour and a half my original $85.00 HOLD was released completely and also in my AVAILABLE PAYOUTS for the day and will be sent tomorrow to my bank. Much Much faster than I have been reading from others. I applaud Ebay for the speed in which they gave me my money back.

That is good news. Last time for me it was one business day instead of the usual two days. Maybe they are improving the process.
