Do you have a Managed Payments account set up?
For some reason eBay does not require this before new and returning sellers start listing.
You need your SSN and a checking account.
EBay will then transfer your customer payments to the checking account after taking their fees on each transaction.
There may be some monthly fees which will be taken either from that weekly balance or from the checking account.
The default is a Tuesday transfer, which can mean that a payment arriving late on Monday is not transferred until the next Tuesday.
But.
As a new (or returning) seller, you have to prove yourself.
So eBay puts a Hold on your customer's payment for 21 days.
Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be Held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category.
You can buy shipping labels from the Held payment, which is helpful because being able to show delivery is one way to reduce the 21 day Hold.
You can request that the restrictions be removed or reduced every 30 days.

Since you're a new seller, they will hold the funds for a little while.
If your checking account has been confirmed, the funds will be sent to it, when the hold is released, on the schedule you chose.

Normally it takes about 5 days before money is deposited into your "checking account". Because you are a new seller money will be held about 21 days.
All sellers are required to enroll in Managed Payments (before you can get paid). You need to provide your checking account (routing# ONLY) and social security# (for tax purposes). Name on your EBAY profile page, checking account and social security card must be an EXACT MATCH (or your approval may be delayed). No nicknames (must be your legal name).
