I applied a recent coupon code that doesn't expire for another week to an order which I cancelled. How can I get the coupon code reinstated so I can use it. Currently, the checkout page informs me that the coupon has already been used. Will it be reinstated automatically once my payment is refunded?

You are generalizing. eBay has explicit policies and it would be helpful to know the policiy on coupons before sending them on a wild goose chase. But thanks, it was good info for use outside of eBay.

There is no need for the OP to contact customer support. They sought the refund. eBay specifically states the value of the Coupon will not be refunded.
