How can I avoid negative balance on ebay?

Ebay is sending me payouts for completed auctions and then billing me for shipping charges after the payouts are made, how can I prevent this from happening?

What is your payout schedule? Are you doing daily deposits?

Sounds like you are using 'paypal' to purchase labels (currently there are 2 options, out of pending funds or using paypal). Then, sounds like paypal has no money or is instructed, by you, to charge your bank account for any 'purchases' made (which 'buying a shipping label' is a 'purchase') 

You can 'change' how labels are paid for by scrolling ALL THE WAY down the 'print label page' (after inputting weight/size) and you can choose 1 or the other. Note that once you 'choose' it will remain that way until you 'choose' (change) again.
