-First off it's NOT predictable, it can take up to 5 or 6 business days, first lie. Nothing is convenient about that. You really do not have a reliable way of knowing when you will be paid.
-Second, the only flexibility is on Ebays end, yes you can choose Daily Payments but that is a lie on it's own, daily turns into a weeks if you get paid Wed-Friday.
-Convenient? Hardly. I now have to juggle money to pay for my shipping labels, Ebays shipping system is horrendous. And, nothing is convenient about having to wait to be paid. I cannot have my money deposited in my PP account, it's either Ebay keeps my money or I have to choose to wait a week sometimes to receive my money.
We sellers just like usual are having to bear the brunt for Ebay's poor management decisions, PayPal should NEVER have been spun off, technically Ebay still owns PayPal, the companies are just being run as separate entities.

You must not have had purchases on a Thursday - Sunday.

"technically Ebay still owns PayPal, the companies are just being run as separate entities."
Please stop spreading misinformation. Ebay did own Paypal from 2002 until a corporate spin-off in 2015 when it became a publicly owned company.

I opted into MP during August, 2019. My buyer's payment is my bank deposit in 3 business days. To your points:
1) I find that it is very predictable... 3 business days and I have my (Daily) deposit.
2) Don't confuse 'Daily Payouts' with next-day payouts. They've never advertised 'next-day' payouts.
3) The 'convenience' is the ability to use Pending funds to pay for the labels. I happen to keep a zero PayPal balance and choose to pull my shipping from my attached bank account; some sellers use a credit card.

Simply not true, it's not predictable, had you read all the posts concerning MPs it can be as little as a few days to a week and some are complaining on here that it has taken a month to get paid. If all you go from is your own experience then yeah it's predictable, but not for many out there. It took my last payment a week to have funds available in my business checking. Now I would never argue that PayPal was not predictable, heck you could set your watch by that company, certainly 1000% better that this current train wreck.
As far as flexible, we have zero flexible options, you can choose daily and it will still be a week depending on if your buyer made his/her purchase Wed-Thurs. We have zero flexibility, you chose weekly, if the purchase happens the Monday before you will NOT have your money on Wed.
It's not convenient to those of us who love the PP shipping system which is my point, but, you ignored that.
You see what works for you does not work for everyone, yeah some love it, but so many despise it.

LOL I will let the quote you posted as proof that Ebay still owns PP. Corporations do it all the time, but the majority share holder is ....................... can you guess it? ..................... come on................ EBAY!

I've read so many posts that I'm actually tired of reading them. Yes, all I can share is my own experience.
Way back in August, 2019... payments took from 6-14 days to reach me. Shipping costs were entirely out-of-pocket. I had to extend my Handling Time to keep my bank account or my Metrics from taking any 'dings', and to retain my TRS status.
The truth is... it took me nearly a whole quarter to adapt. (Heck, I was tap dancing on landmines.) Also, the truth... it's waaaay better now than the slow mess it was when I signed up. I hope you can adapt... it's doable. Good luck.

Ebay is not even close to the top ten institutions holding PayPal stock. A quick search query will establish that.

That is simply not true, I have 2 sales from this past Thursday, they both read processing, even today. They will read that on Monday and Tuesday if they follow the past for me. Now when it says deposited in the bank, yeah the next day it ended up in my account but they process for days, which is complete rubbish.
Think of it this way, buy something with your debit card and see how quickly the money comes out of your account.
Either Ebay or Adyen are making huge money holding our money, banks do this all the time, look at deposits, deposits when made don't show up for days sometimes, why? Because congress has allowed this to happen. With the speed of computers we could be paid in minutes.

Here's another example of gaslighting. Ebay still owns a controlling interest in PayPal, this is like Ebay telling Ebay not to deal with Ebay, they are one in the same. If Ebay wanted to with their controlling interest they could have PayPal continue the relationship.
You do know that the CEO of Ebay is now the CEO of PayPal..... now why is that?
People, don't be sheeple.

A spinoff is not a sale but it's a corporation that chooses to split into multiple ventures. PayPal is still run by Ebay, and, I would bet Ebay owns over 60% of PayPal stock.

I would bet Elon Musk owns over 60% of Paypal stock!

Dan Schulman is CEO of PayPal. He was never CEO of eBay.

The largest shareholder for Paypal is, in fact, Vanguard, followed by BlackRock.

I have been saying for weeks it seems the advertising for MP is fraudulent and I get flamed by the regulars on these boards.
It is illegal to make a claim that a product does not have. Surely, the advertising to convince buyers to sign up for MP fits this description.
