Hello, I need help with this issue I've had for a few weeks now. I last sold an item in November but still have items listed since last summer. Just mentioning that if it helps.
So I've had the notice "Your payouts are on hold until you update your account details. Please update to avoid further restrictions." for weeks now, maybe months. I've been "updating" my info almost every other day now for the last few weeks.
I chatted with ebay last Wednesday about this, which didn't really go anywhere. They told me they sent out the issue to a team who were taking care of this since there were many others affected by this issue and it should be resolved in 48-72 hours.
Well I'm still getting asked to update my info. I'd like to start selling again and don't know if this will affect getting paid from items being sold. Also, when I go to update my info, it says they need it to send out a 1099-K form but I already received it from them.
I don't know what else to do except fill out that W-9 form but I don't have a working printer right now. And all that will do is give them the same info I've already been giving them. Can anyone help?

Specifically what information have they been asking you for? Most of what you have said are general statements. If I've learned nothing else about Managed payments you need to be VERY specific.
Couple things. If you are updating information on your MP account in the computer, make sure you completely clear the field first. Don't overwrite. Clear it completely and then enter the information.
Something else to remember is in MP things have to perfectly match, no exceptions. So that means that your name and address [no PO Boxes] have to perfectly match between what you have as your Primary name and address in Ebay and what your Bank information is. Not even a one character difference. It has to be perfect.

Hi, I'm not sure exactly what they are looking for. It asks for my name, address, birthdate, and SSN. All have been given before except for my SSN. Nothing has changed recently. My bank info is not being asked for. I'm guessing its info for the IRS.
I have checked my info in my bank account and everything is matching. I don't know how to find out what info the IRS has to match it perfectly with my info on Ebay. I'll try submitting the info again. But everything is the same.

No that would be information REQUIRED for the Managed Payment program which is the only way sellers can get paid anymore.
Have you given them your Routing number and your checking account number? If you haven't, Ebay has to have this information to process your money. There is no other current option to getting paid.

So I got it verified and my account updated successfully. I have been getting paid through ebay since last year, they already had my banking info meaning my routing number and checking account number.
When I tried updating again about 20 minutes ago, the fields cleared themselves so I didn't have to make sure they were cleared. I thought about what you said about things having to match perfectly and decided to add the 4 extra digits in my zip code since they weren't there before. Not completely sure if that was the problem but several minutes later I got an email saying my account was updated successfully.
So thank you for your help. And maybe this is the issue other people are having so I hope they try this out.
