I see old threads that talk about it when Paypal took care of my payments but see nothing, anywhere, about where to find the annual sales tax collected for 2020. I contacted ebay and they said contact Paypal. Paypal has zip for my account. I need to find it for my NYS returns, as I'm sure you all need them too.
I really, really, don't want to have to pull every invoice from 2020 and do it manually, so any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

@gloryglorygifts, I don't think you need to know how much New York sales tax was collected for your eBay sales, in order to file your NY sales tax report.
There are some links below to useful information about this. As I understand the TaxJar information, for sellers based in New York State (or with a nexus there), the Marketplace Provider (eBay, for example) is required to collect and remit the sales tax.

I don't claim to understand state tax laws at all, but eBay is the one that collects and distributes states sales tax. You never see that money. All you do is pay a fee to eBay for handling it. Is it that you are trying to write off the fees? How did you do it last year?

For all the years that we are in business we tracked our NYS sales tax ourselves. We are registered with NYS to collect them and to pay them annually to them. We file a sales tax return with the state and one with NYC as well. Managed payments has them all lumped together, which is absolutely no help to us. We need to know what was paid to NY for tax reporting purposes, not write offs.

@gloryglorygifts, too late to edit my previous reply anymore.
If you want or need the sales tax information, for your own records or the info is needed for the "zero return", then you can go here and run a transaction report -

You are a rockstar! Thanks so much! We normally do have sales outside this marketplace in any given year, but last year, because we downsized our website and combined it with our ebay store, and also COVID, we did not. We didn't have any customer contact outside of ebay for 2020, so a zero return it is. Thank you for providing so much info. You have made my blood pressure return to normal...
