Hacked and having a hard time getting a refund

Hi,

I was hacked on April 10th and the hacker ordered two items totaling to about $60, and it's been a nightmare to get my money back. eBay support tells me to go through PayPal, but PayPal keeps denying my claims. So my question is, if I go through my bank, would I get banned on eBay? I really don't want to get banned here.

You can and should open a chargeback dispute with your credit card issuer.

The reason should be unauthorized use.

You will not be banned by Ebay, that was a practice of PayPal's for chargebacks and Visa and Mastercard told them to cut it out or be unable to take Visa and Mastercard - many years ago.
