HACKED ACCOUNT

I recently started noticing changes made on my account,  both on my seller account dashboard and on my ebay account section. I've taken multiple steps and precautions to keep both my account and personal information secure without any luck.  After contacting eBay support regarding the situation I have come to realize that the person hacking me has access to my entire cloud services and physical devices. No matter what steps I take to secure my accounts, eBay being just one of them. Somehow they still gain access and reek havoc, sending false claims through messages to customers and changing information that obviously I did not authorize. What should I do about this considering every time I try to contact eBay customer support, It's clearly rerouted to the hacker and thus if I'm unable to catch it in time  (What I mean by that is notice the individual on the other end isn't responding as a normal eBay representative would be on a service call specifically scheduled from my eBay account. Sometimes it is extremely difficult and other times I can read the unprofessionalism almost immediately.) This has been going on for awhile now with my personal tech devices and accounts and fairly recently with my eBay account from what I can tell, thus the Yaya have had access to my eBay account for much longer than I even thought. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of malicious activity and compromising of their personal information and or financial activity as I was hoping  to eventually  use my eBay seller account as a part/primary source of income, but with this malicious activity effectively causing negative impact on my endeavors, I'm concerned this is just the beginning of a long frustrating process to stop the individual/s committing such impeding actions to my means of wealth and having access to my personal information none the less. Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to the eBay community as I know there are many of us alike on here seeking the same passive income we all desperately need in these times.

Sincerely, ATD

Re: HACKED ACCOUNT

Have you tried changing your ebay password from a different device?

(not the one you normally use) You may have a keystroke logger on your primary device, which keeps the intruder in lock step with you

Setup 2 step verification

Re: HACKED ACCOUNT

You need a serious scan of your computer to rule out viruses and other hacking codes.

if you don’t have access to the software bring it to someone and have them scan it. I have used Best Buy in the past and they do a good job.

Re: HACKED ACCOUNT

Try securing your access by turning on 2nd-factor verification (usually a 8-digit code that should be stored outside your devices, e.g. good old piece of paper)

After you request a password change or tech support gives you a new way in, you have to do this immediatly, because the hacker will be notified too and it's a matter of who gets there first.

I've lost a couple of instagram accounts bc of this — not having 2nd factor auth turned on, and that's what the hacker did first so I was never able to retrieve my accounts even when tech support provided me with new passwords. I didn't have the 8-digit code, the hacker had it so he could always reset things to his side.

Re: HACKED ACCOUNT

I appriciate everyones feedback on the issue, I will take the time to try each of those steps, I seriously think it's compromised most of my accounts and devices at this point and my only way of getting rid of it is to file a claim with the general bureuao of investigation. With that said, I appricate folks out there who take the time out of their day to help others in such situations, so thanks again for your time. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this mess.

Best regards, ATD
