Gift card redemption code

I purchased a $100 gift card and I am unable to use it. When I scratchd of the redemption code the numbers were unreadable.  I am unable to use it because of this and I can find no one to contact at EBAY to try and get this resolved.

What if I scratched my eBay gift card code off? What if there are other issues with my eBay gift card?

Please gather the following information and items and contact the retailer where your eBay gift card was purchased:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• A picture of the back of the gift card
• A picture of the purchase receipt for the gift card
• Your eBay account name
• The gift card redemption code, if legible

Kroger washed its hands of it,  they say once the card is registered the money is in Ebay's hand and there is nothing they can do about it.  I have to contact EBAY, LOL!

Are any numbers on the far right side legible? All but the last four numbers of the code are embeddedin the fine print at the very bottom of the back of the card. Remove the letters in that string of digits and what is left is the redemption code minus the last four numbers.

There are several numbers on the card, a series of 11 digits on the lower right but that doesn't work.

You would think there would someone to call to resolve this.  I am done dealing with companies that don't have an obvious customer support system set up.

The numeral digits on the bottom of the card will work if you add the 4 missing digits.

If you read the terms it says no refunds. You damaged the card and expect eBay to help with that.  Their help is in the link you were given  if you scratched the the code off.

I'm not looking for a refund,  I gently scrapped like it said and the strip came apart. Your comments are helpful, you just troll the board looking to comment.

I know with all the trouble I see over gift cards and I read in the terms  no refunds after you buy one then this troll would not be buying one. Sorry for your loss.
