Getting paid

I switched my payout option from Paypal to my CU - no payments; apparently eBay has a problem with credit unions.

I opened an account at a "normal bank", entered that in to my payments info - no payments; apparently there "is a bug in my account" that is preventing the system from processing any payments at all.

I have almost $2000 in my eBay account that I can't access and I am not getting satisfactory customer service from them (super nice, but not helpful at all).

Bottom line - how do I get my money??   eBay "doesn't write checks", so until/unless they fix this, I'm screwed.  Really doesn't inspire me to keep a store on this platform.

Does anyone have advice on this?

Credit Unions are not banks, so Ebay does not accept them. May I ask if your bank now is BOA? There seems to be a problem with Ebay accepting that bank too. Your best bet is probably to go to Ebay for Business on Facebook. These are authentic Ebay employees, knowlegeble and helpful, not outsourced to a foreign country. Use the message link in the upper right hand corner, good luck.

I doubt all credit unions are the same, but I've been set up for managed payments for a couple years attached to a credit union checking account and never have had an issue getting paid.

Im surprised at that, every complaint in here has been Ebay refusing cu accounts for MP, good to know.

I signed up with my Credit Union and never had an issue.

My CU has everything a bank has and my checking account worked great.

I would look at another reason for your CU not working.

It has to be a checking account.

Your name on the account and on your eBay account must match exactly.

Yes, I looked that up, seems Ebay does accept 'some' cu's,but nothing more specific than that.

Usually the problem with a Credit Union or Bank of America accounts is the routing number.  You need to call your bank and ask specifically what ACH routing number to use with ebay for online transfers.
