I bought a product from an Indian Seller - India/Argentina door to door via Fedex. Here, In Argentina, Custom retains my product alluding to the cuit data was missing; cuit = fiscal key, a number simply. To get it out from the customs, Fedex ask me an amount three times more, This data never was asked me at no time during the purchase. I report the non arrival of the product and requested a refund. Ebay told me that this situation is under my responsability, that I should know this customs rule and did not accept my request. Seller wins. Ebay inside your plattform should requiere this data and Fedex does not received a package without these information. Now, I have not my product and l lost my money.
Ebay mistreats to it Customers and it Personnel is not prepare to manage a problematic situation. It´s a shame and It's a fraud. All for a simple number that Ebay ans Fedex can't manage, Shame...Terror...Fraud...

Not Shame
Not Fraud
Although may be terror, for you.
Ebay is right. It is up to YOU to know your countries customs/taxes etc required when you import. How would a Seller know, look up the Customs requirements for 206 countries and then try to list them?
Never gonna happen.
It's up to you.

If the item was located in your country, why would customs be involved?
Ebay is correct, you should know how customs is in your country and what information you need.
