On March 15, 2022, my husband noticed that an unusual purchase had been made on our account. The strange thing was it was selected to be shipped to our address. For this little model car that cost $63.18, we disputed it with eBay and stated that we needed to file a claim with our bank. In following the tracking number, it was displayed that it was delivered on March 17th, but it never arrived. I just received a notice from our bank yesterday stating that the claim would not be fulfilled due to it being shipped to our address. I have tried several times to contact eBay about this matter, but all I get is go online and then get referred back to "contact the seller". When the item is pulled up under purchases, the only thing listed is disputed with banking institution. What do I do now?

Did you change your password on the ebay account? I would
Did you change your password on your bank account (and what 'bank' did you contact? how was it paid? Credit Card? ; if so, did you change that password as well?)
Do you use your phone for bank transactions having to do with ebay or your credit card?
Too many possibilities; At this time, item showed ordered by you, paid by you and shipped to your location. There are scams like this out there, and this one sounds like a 'tester' to see if it worked. Again, changing all those passwords would be key to shutting off the bad guys. Had you contacted the carrier back in March they could tell you the GPS coodinates of where exactly it delivered to.

Once you open a case with your payment source, Ebay will no longer help.
Since your back denied the claim, not sure if there's anything else you can do.

Well you need to file with law enforcement on this for sure:
Next is to run virus scans and malware scans on all devices you use on the net.
Change passwords on just about every thing you use on the net after that:
You need to contact the shipper and find out if the item was shipped to your addy: Note: they will not tell you were it was shipped usually: If not to your addy get that in written form.
Such allows you to dispute the order as item not received if so...You would need to appeal decision based on that.
I suspect this is what happen. Its a fake tracking number scam:
Who else has access to your devices that could have purchased this item is also a question you should be asking. I see from history a younger person is purchasing items it seems....
