FedEx overcharge me $1056.06 instead of $19.26 for shipping label. (Sept, 2 2020) If it was any credit card (instead of EBay), they would see facts, file dispute and GIVE me CREDIT for $1056.06. EBay customer service reps and their supervisors told me to wait 5-10 days for FedEx Email. EBAY- absolutely DO NOT CARE about your customers.

1. See EBay invoice and there is description: Weight 238.0Lb and how much they charge for delivery.
2. Actual Fedex shipping label $19.26
3. Tool SET
4. Actual weight for Ebay Label 18Lb  19x16x4 inch

Many more of these stories on these boards. I always checked the rates on FedEx's website before purchasing on eBay. Then I would take the package to the local FedEx store and have them re-check and confirm everything before handing it over. Never had a problem.

This is why I refuse to ship via FedEx. To many overcharges. Not to mention nearest drop off is 20 miles for me.. Post office is 3 miles..

You probably had your service settings wrong for FedEx

Don't place the blame where the blame doesn't belong.  That won't help you fix this problem.  It isn't that Ebay doesn't care, it is that Ebay has no power to do anything at all about it.  This is between you and Fedex.

Just like when USPS does this.  That is the type of issue I battled.  Certainly no where near the $$ value of yours, but still a good chunk of money they had no right to.  I had to work directly with USPS starting with the contact info I received in an email I got notifying me of the extra charge.

Did you get an email notification about this charge?  Was there instructions on how to appeal?

Problem is that with FedEx, and UPS, eBay is the account holder. Since they are the "shipper of record" FedEx wants to deal with them instead of the seller.  Sellers on eBay have no official standing with FedEx or UPS if they use eBay.

  in the future overcharges will be even bigger  . you want to use fedx its going to cost  1,000s  10000s then 100000s to ship that 20pound   box  and good luck trying to stop them from taking it . those workers had to risk there lives  droping that box off like a madmax movie

It really is looking like FedEx is a scammer company.

Maybe some one inside FedEx is trying to harm the company....

A thought is to have eBay BLOCK fedex purchases through their system until: some one FEDEX or eBay gets the mess straight.

I would better after all the garbage to never use eBay for fedex pricing.

You do seem to have the highest increased shipping cost so far..
