Just updated my payment info and it claims to have went through and says I could use it for express payouts but the option isn't there. It's just disappeared after updating my info and I still have the tab open that says I've completed it properly. This is RIDICULOUS considering I already gave you almost $50 on a $300 sale after it not being noticed for MONTHS. This is PATHETIC. This is my only job right now and if it takes until Monday, Let alone Tuesday, I will NEVER use ebay again. I will my own website, Mercari and offer-up and I will never buy or sell from this place ever again. I'm HEATED right now as I have been bidding on items for the past two days thinking I would get MY MONEY when I DESERVED IT. I purchase so much through ebay because we can pay with pay pal this is NOT HOW I OR ANY OTHER SELLER DESERVES TO BE TREATED but now I have the pay pal debit card and can shop ANYWHERE ELSE with pay pal. I know ebay is hurting because of the amount of ads I see EVERYWHERE so they wouldn't be paying for that many adds.
If I feel thios way that means others do too. No reason to have have our payouts on a schedule NO OTHER ONLINE MARKETPLACE MAKES ME WAIT FOR MY MONEY LIKE THIS.

You may be in for a big surprise since you only have 2 sold items over the last year. eBay can and will hold payments for sellers who just start selling and that hold can be up to 30 days or more depending on the category.
Selling high dollar items as a new or infrequent seller usually ends up in payments being held.
Good luck with your sales.

Getting paid for items you've sold | eBay

You may not be able to receive your payout for 14 days or more depending on how much the item was. If it was a high dollar amount your payout maybe held for 30 days to ensure buyer satisfaction. As a fyi…You may also be asked to provide eBay with proof of purchase for those items you appear to have more than one of.
Payment Holds
As for the items you bid on thinking you’ll be paid for the item you sold, you still need to make good with those purchases. Otherwise those sellers can give you unpaid item strikes. 2 on your account in 12 months will get you blocked from bidding and buying from thousands of sellers items.

"Once you've added a card, as a security measure, there may be a 48 hour waiting period when you won't receive payouts to your newly added card. You can continue to receive payouts to your bank account. After 48 hours, once your card is verified, you can select your debit card as your preferred payout method or request a payout to your debit card on demand."

Oh yeah, ditto to message 2.
When you're new at selling your payment is held 14-30 days. When the hold is up you can use Express Pay.

@chrimi_4012 you should have read "payment holds" and everything about being a new seller.
New or infrequent sellers are subject to holds.
There are many reasons for this but the biggest reason is to make sure the person selling really ships the item and eBay isnt stuck refunding buyers because the new seller was a scammer.
Best of luck at whatever site you go to

Mercari holds your money until the package is delivered and rated. Good luck over there.

So what happens if the buyer does not rate (give feedback)? How long does Mercari keep the money?

You're a new seller and they will hold the funds for a little while.
I would'nt be looking for the money for a few weeks.

I was about to say, LOL. That's one of the reasons I left.
