Express Payments

Hello, I've been an eBayer for years and I signed up for Express Payments last night, I'm getting a message that since I added a Debit Card (which Express Payments require) that now I have to wait 48 hours until getting payment.  Does that mean that the $2 fee will be waived this first time as it's not "Express"?  I understand the security precautions here but there really should be a warning the first time you set it up about a potential delay.

Re: Express Payments

There is a warning. Express Payout is a new payment method.

"When you add a new payout method, your payout is delayed up to 48 hours as a security caution."

It's stated here:

www.ebay.com/sellercenter/payments-and-fees/express-payouts

Re: Express Payments

Why not do daily payouts and save the $2 fee?

Have a great day.

Re: Express Payments

The debit card hopefully is the card that connects your routing account number of your checking account.

I signed up under 'Tuesday payouts'...when I did that that was the only one you could use...not daily payouts.

'wait 48 hours'...I didn't know I got express payouts until it showed up one night...eBay doesn't tell you.

There is a 2 buck fee of withdrawing money in 'available funds'...otherwise I get my funds on Tuesday.

You can do the 1-3 business days for funds for free under express payouts when you get it. But remember doing it on a Friday you won't see the funds until maybe Tuesday+. Thursday tomorrow is a holiday.

It works well in emergencies...use it wisely.

Usually the available funds are released after 9PM each 365 days of a year...not before...keep that in mind.

Took a few tries how to work it as to withdrawing..quite a few clinks here and there...plus adding how much money you want to withdraw... It's like an ATM machine...LOL...get the money in 5 seconds for a 2 buck fee.

I have eBay App on my iPhone so I can get money in seconds if needed...like shopping in a store or out with the boys in a bar added to my checking account(debit card).

Probably gave you too much information to read...LOL

Re: Express Payments

You can still do the 1-3 business day daily payouts without a fee in 'Express Payouts'.

Sometimes, we need a quick payment for something...it's basically like a ATM machine.

Tell me you never used an ATM machine and I will not rant anymore.
