I sell many small items, comic books mostly. Sometimes buyers will purchase two items separately from me, but in the end, it only makes sense for me to ship these together. In order to encourage repeat business, I like to provide a partial refund of the shipping charges on one of the purchases. With managed payments, it is quite easy to initiate this refund, but there are two things that I would like to see as enhancements in this area:
- Do not trigger a notification (on the bell throughout the web) when the refund is initiated and/or completed. I am fine with the messages, but the notifications are just distracting. If I cancel an order outright, I get a message, but no notification. I'd like to see the behavior here be the same.
- In the Payments transactions report, I would like to see a column indicting the "Reason for this refund" that I selected when I issued the refund. Having this on the report would allow me to better classify the refund when I import transactions into my accounting software.
