I’ve been on ebay for about a year now and all of the sudden ebay sent me a banner saying that i need to update my account to keep receiving payouts. My payouts have been on hold for more than a week now when I already updated my information like 20 times and ebay will keep saying they can’t verify my identity. Now when i try to update my identity it just takes me to a blank page saying “ERROR” does anyone know what to do in this case? I already contacted like 7 ebay agents and none of them will solve this issue.

Instead of blindly going in and making changes to your account, find out what EXACTLY is in conflict first.
Your name and address have to PERFECTLY match with your bank account info. No PO Boxes and your name has to be EXACTLY the same, not even one character different.
Read though this and see if you spot anything else that may be causing the problem. The KEY to fixing any issue is to FIND THE CAUSE.

Sending them tons of info simply confuses their bots. People are not reading that stuff.

I believe that to be true too which is part of the problem. Some sellers think they can shove that square peg into that round whole if they work hard enough for it or yell loud enough because it is all Ebay's fault. It is not. Ebay is REQUIRED by law to collect certain information and confirm it all matches.
All the blaming of Ebay, venting and complaining isn't going to change a thing. Some have assumed the information is reviewed by bots. IDK that to be true nor does anyone that has posted that. They are assuming it, which as we know does not make a fact.
What has amazed me is how many sellers seem to have entered or tried to enter MP without learning ANYTHING about the program. A program that controls their money and they did not take the time to even learn the basics about it. Instead when something doesn't fit with how they think it should work, they come here and complain how Ebay has screwed them.
There are millions of sellers, literally millions that signed up for MP without issue. The likely reason for that is that most sellers actually took a little time to learn about what MP was and how it worked, so when they submitted their information to MP they knew what they needed to have. And if they saw an issue, they fixed it before sending the info to Ebay/MP.
Speaking for myself, I did that. My name on Ebay was slightly different than it was on my Bank account, so I changed my name in Ebay so it perfectly matched up.

I did change my name on the ebay platform but when I went back in it never had updated the name change. I attempted to do the change many times to no avail.

That is very odd indeed. Do you click on the SAVE button? I just tried it on my account and it worked fine.
Maybe clear your cache and cookies and then try it again. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact Ebay.
