A buyer paid for his $551.00 purchase on 3/14 and Ebay STILL has not paid ME! It's already been 5 days, and since today is Saturday, the absolute SOONEST I will CAN paid will be Monday the 21st, 7 days AFTER the buyer paid Ebay for the item. My account is in good standing and there is absolutely NO REASON for Ebay to be holding my money! And, this is the 2nd time in just 3 months this has happened. The last time it was 9 days before I had access to a buyers' payment. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. Paypal can transfer funds into my bank AND have them READY TO USE in less than a minute! The quickest I have EVER had access to my funds since Ebay began 'managing' payments is 3 business days (4 days total). It's hard to understand how ANY company in 2022 can expect to offer competent service using 1970's technology! Ebay sure has me convinced that they cannot!

If the payment is still processing, could be the buyers payment source.
When I accepted American Express on one of my web sites, it was nothing to wait a week or longer before the payment would be processed.

I've had that same problem with American express in the past. But, this is not the same situation. Ebay acknowledged the buyers' payment had been received and was available rfor payout, but for some reason they did not schedule a payout date until yesterday after I had spent HOURS dealing with them on their automated help and on the phone. And, the money was not in my bank account this morning. My bank posts deposits made before 3pm on the same day they are received. So I'm questioning if they've actually transferred the funds at all yet.

First, chill out. If a couple of days is an issue, maybe eBay is not for you. Second, banks process deposits before 3PM if they are brought to the bank and handled by a teller. Most all banks process electronic deposits during the night. And none process on weekends or Holidays.

Have you shipped this item? .....that may be causing a delay
