Have been an Ebay buyer and seller since 1999.
I recently had to change from Paypal to Ebay's proprietary payment **bleep** and am still awaiting payment for a sale made on 8/28/2021.
I was in the process of setting up my bank to make sale deposits into and it had yet to receive the micro-deposits to verify. Some moron working for Ebay sent a payout to this unverified account and I have been fighting with them ever since to get it.
Ebay requested I get a letter from my bank stating the payout was never received by my bank, which I did. Two weeks and all I get are apologies for the inconvenience, but still no money.
I jumped through all their hoops despite they being the ones that screwed up by not following their own processes.
Anyone have issues?
Always sounds like some foreign telephone center every time I call to get answers. IF I ever get my money, I'm through with Ebay. I think they are in way over their heads based in the individuals I've dealt with.

There is likely plenty of blame to go around. It would have started with incorrect information originally submitted by you.
Have you updated your account with the correct information now? Have you received notification from MP that you have been Verified?
You might try this link and see if you can get the proper help you deserve. I know the current state of Ebay's customer service is really problematic.

The account is set up correctly. Payouts following the first were received, but they were sent AFTER the account was verified with the micro-deposits.
The blame is squarely on them for not following their own verification process before sending payouts. So there is not "plenty of blame to go around" as you put it.
These people hold your feet to the fire from what I have seen when their processes are not followed, but we are helpless for recourse when they don't.
It's all wonderful until you have an issue. Then it becomes clear the kind of company your dealing with

I understand that your original mistake may be corrected, but has your account been verified AFTER you corrected the account info?
Micro Deposits is ONE way in which MP may use to verify your information, NOT the ONLY way they can verify it.
I understand and agree that MP customer service is pretty bad for most sellers with issues. I have fought that issue with Ebay for over a full year now without much positive movement if any at all. They keep telling me that there has been improvements, yet I see no evidence of that on the threads.
It seems to me that the sellers that have the most difficulty getting issues worked out with Ebay are those that make an honest error in the original information given and then change it to the correct information. I don't know why that would be true, but I see it the most on the threads. I wish I knew something that would actually help you but I don't. You simply need to continue to contact Ebay for help until help arrives. Sad but true. Daily contact is likely what you need to do sadly.

mam.. I think this another case of ebay allowing the selelr to list and sell without being fully verified.
So the payment was "sent before verification" by ebay. Then the new sales revenue was sent correctly after a second round of verification.
Simply put ebay should never have allowed a seller to list if they were not fully verified sending the money into limbo.

@janet9988 I couldn't agree with you more. I have been complaining about this vary thing for a while now. However this particular seller's issue got compounded by initially making a mistake in the information given during registration. I am NOT blaming the seller for the current issues at all. I'm only saying the bad info compounded the current issue.

and the **bleep** continues...
I have contacted my bank to try and track the missing payment. They stated it's easily tracked by a 15 digit tracer number which I would have to get from Ebay.
Over the last month I have made no less than 5 requests for the tracer number and have received nothing. Either these people have no idea what the ACH process is or they are just incompetent hacks.
Knowing this could be cleared up so easily with this tracer number, I do not understand why Ebay continues to send me irrelevant numbers that I didn't ask for. I think they just expect I will give up and they keep the money.
The people that have replied to my requests all have similarities in their names...

As I stated previously, I do not believe I am dealing with anyone In the US but rather India.
Let this be a reminder to anyone getting in involved with Ebays managed payments... As long as everything is working you're fine, but as soon as there is a problem, GOOD LUCK. YOU'RE DEALING WITH IDIOTS!
