EBay Payment to Payoneer Reverted, Endless Loop Stuck at EBay Support

In the mid of 2023, about USD200 payment sent from EBay to my Payoneer account was somehow reverted.

Since then, I've been emailed both back and forth numerous times, Payoneer support was relatively helpful but insisted EBay had to re-send the payments.

The problem with EBay support is, whenever things seem to have progressed, very soon the next email from EBay will be back to square one.

Now, almost half year have passed, I'm still stuck.

I have thought of contacting the authorities but since EBay doesn't seem to have a physical presence in my jurisdiction (Hong Kong), I'm not sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

Where do unclaimed funds go in your country?

For sellers in  the U.S. it goes to their state's  treasury dept. Then the seller claims them there. Does Hong Kong have somewhere the  money goes that isn't claimed?

According to Payoneer, the funds have been returned to EBay

I have written proof from Payoneer which has been forwarded to EBay

Why did Payoneer return the funds to eBay? It seems like Payoneer is the culprit.  If eBay doesn't have a way to pay you they turn the money over to Hong Kong Monetary Authority.  It could take a year. Have you tried contacting eBay for Business on Facebook?

Yes, it's Payoneer's problem. But according to them the funds were returned to EBay,.. why would they be turned over to HKMA?
