Ebay herded me to their own payment processing and apparently I didn't have a choice. They are supposed to be phasing out Paypal. Well I sold my first item on a Tuesday with Ebay processing the payment. Payment status was 'Processing' until Thursday, then payment was 'Available'. Then I had to wait until the next 'Payout' day which was Friday. Then on Friday the payment was forwarded to my bank which takes another 1-3 business days. This entire process from sale to having access to my funds is almost A WEEK!!! When you sold something and the buyer paid with Paypal, the payment was IMMEDIATELY put in your Paypal account and you had access. You could transfer it to your bank, keep it there or withdraw it off your Paypal card. If you decided to transfer it to your bank, it would take 1-2 business days and often a lot less. You could even pay an extra 1% to have it available in your bank immediately. The fact instant transfer was an option with PP, proves Ebay is purposely holding onto the seller's monies to use as they see fit...and they most likely draw interest from it or move it around to make money. Yet they have INSTANT access to their new seller fees which I had levied close to 13%. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! SELLERS NEED THEIR MONEY AND SHOULDN'T HAVE IT WITHHELD SO EBAY CAN PROFIT OFF IT! not to mention the buyer isn't getting ANYTHING until i have access to the payment they made, which forces them to wait too. EBAY PAYMENT PROCESSING...FAIL!!!
