Double charging

Why is it that every time I buy something through your company I get charged twice, and the next day the second charge comes off-but in the interim that money is actually deducted from my account and almost always reflects a negative balance ? I always keep just enough on this particular card for online purchases to cover the purchase to insulate myself from fraud, which in turn make ME look irresponsible. I know of no other company tat does this! There can't be ANY reasonable explanation for this. Is the FTC aware of this practice?

Double charging

Ive seen a lot of online companies that do that. Im sure its allowed within the FTC guidelines, or companies wouldnt continue to do it.

Double charging

The first charge was probably a hold put on the funds.
The second charge is the actual payment.
Once the payment is completed the hold will be removed.

When I get gas, they put $300 on hold and it doesn't matter how much gas I get.

Have a great day.
