I believe I set everything up correctly meaning correct account number and correct checking routing number. Money is going to correct bank but incorrect checking account. Is there a way on ebay when logged in to actually see the account and routing numbers? I have not been able to find this information. I see that ebay will not answer a phone call which is bull **bleep**. I guess I need step by step instructions to verify my information...

On the overview page look under payments and payout settings to see the bank and last four digits of the account. Any changes may put your account at risk.

just thinking out loud here...
maybe try 'adding' a new payment option (with the correct information) in addition to the one's you have now...then change it (through the Manage link) to your 'primary' account?

Is the account the money is going into yours? Is it a secondary account? If so, you may have to contact the institution to fix it.

History, I set the account up 1.5 years ago in anticipation to begin selling. First sale wad 2 weeks ago. Yes the money is going into my account and yes it is our primary checking account. I set up a different secondary account for ebay. I could not find "Payout settings" but found "payout options". Under payout options I see account ending in .... The account # on ebay is correct for my secondary checking account. So account # is correctly listed on ebay (secondary checking account) but money is deposited in a primary account with a different account #. I did not want the ebay monies going into our primary checking account.

My advice is to leave well enough alone. Last year, a banker where my e-Bay money is deposited, opened a credit card attached to my account without my permission; said bank finally admitted the error. I decided to close the account, but encountered a problem with the change on e-Bay's end. I quickly reversed the process before it was finalized and now merely transfer the money to my primary bank.

Maybe ebay can help me???

If ebay is showing the correct check account, it sounds like your bank has made the decision to reroute those deposits to your primary account, not ebay.

I will call the bank again tomorrow...

Hi, I would chat with your bank. I had a similar issue a few years ago. I use a credit union. What I ended up having to do was open separate accounts. Not attached to my primary at all. It took some convincing for the bank to do it. When they finally understood why I need money to not get mixed, they set me up with totally disconnected Checking, Savings, and credit. However, those accounts do not get any of the benefits that the primary one did.
Unfortunately, I do not believe there is anything that eBay can do to fix it.
Hope that helps

Just got off the phone with the bank. I was able to talk to someone imagine that. So I was wrong saying ebay info is correct. Ebay list the last four digits of my account number. The four digits ebay lists don't match the last four digits of any of my accounts at my bank. The four digits ebay list are in the middle of three of my six accounts at my bank. I see now how to change this but ebay will not let me. This is because at the end when I have to verify the previous account number to allow them to accept the new account number. So I type in the account number of my primary checking account where funds are deposited and it says incorrect number. So I can't change the account. So again can I speak over the phone with someone at ebay...

It is now fixed or at least it should be. I don't believe I could have fixed this without speaking to a representative. I ended up using the robot chat system which eventually says ebay will call you. One minute later they called me. The representative basically allowed me to change the account number without having to type the old account number in at the end. What a pain in my asssss.

That is soooo fantastic. I am so happy for you! I know you feel great relief.
My selling account is the only account that I have not moved yet. I have been debating whether I want to or not. When I do get around to it, you may see a post like yours trying to figure it out. hehehehhe
