Conflicting emails/messages from ebay

Apparently i'm one of these last of the sellers to switchover to MP. 

I'm getting conflicting email/messages from ebay.

Some say i have to make the switch by 7-31-21.

Some say i have to make the switch by 2-28-21.

If i don't do facebook or twitter, what is the best way to contact ebay?

Otherwise it is the eBay chat or have them call you back thing.

As a seller who relies on eBay as a revenue source I could go get a 2nd back account asap and start the process now. Being ahead of the time line will help as they seam to be having massive issues verifying bank info and getting the payouts going on time.

Once I had every thing done the switch was painless and the only real change was changing the payment for shipping labels from PayPal to pending/ available funds. Over time the time it took my bank to clear the payouts seamed to speed up.

If you don't use Facebook or Twitter, your only options are the Payments board or following the appropriate prompts on the "Help & Contact" link.

The selling board seems to get alot more "action" ( responses ) than the payments board.  I'm sure one of the diligent moderators will move it for me.   😉

You're kidding, right? Have you visited the Payments board lately? It's the hottest board in the community! It gets a lot more traffic than the Selling board--particularly on the subject of Managed Payments. Virtually all of the Managed Payments threads are on that board.

I would just go with the payments tab at the top of seller hub.It will tell you what you need to do.

it let me know how and when to register and when everything was good to go.

I thinks its smart to be ready ahead of time............once you are activated you will know

If I remember right I think they originally gave me a date that I would be moved in to MP and could n longer use PayPal. Then they gave me a earlier date to start the registration process. I met the date to start the registration process and after that was completed the MP switch did not start till the original later date.

7-31-21. is probably when you will be moved to MP if the registration is completed or lose the ability to list. 

2-28-21 is probably the date you will want to start the registration as each step can take some time. 

The MP phone lines are swamped right now with sellers having issues other than super long holds users have reported calling and getting messages that there are no reps to answer their calls. I would not wait around I would get a 2nd bank account right now and start the process before the end of this month.

I'm all set!  I got my new "managed payments" checking account already set up.   I'm actually excited to make the switch.  I've been reading a lot about MP.

Ebay will steel my money.

It's not safe for ebay to have my ssn.

It's not safe to link a checking account to ebay.

My sales will plummet.

 I have to wait forever to get paid.

My customers wont like that i'm on MP. 

Ebay can deduct from my account any time they want. 

There will be bogus charges to my account. 

Ebay will short change me. 

Have i missed anything?  LOL   😉
